Fashionistas throughout the city are bracing themselves for the blizzard that is about to hit NYC. Designers, including Michael Kors, are now taking precautions and rescheduling their shows. The highly anticipated show, by Michael Kors, has been moved to the end of the week, which might actually cause a domino effect on the lineup.
However, the blizzard hasn’t started yet. Therefore, we can highlight some of the fabulous looks that we have seen so far.
Nicholas K kicked off fashion week with fabulous oversized dresses and sweaters for his Fall/Winter 2013-14 collection. Each piece had a dreary, bohemian feel. Both fashions for men and women looked comfortable and certainly grabbed the attention of the audience.
The BCBG Max Azria show also had a cozy vibe to it. Each piece featured one of three things: fur, leather, or lace. If you ask me, those are the top 3 components you need to put together a fabulous Fall ensemble.
After spending most of my morning on twitter, I noticed that the most tweeted about show so far was this morning’s Project Runway showcase. The show was filled with a star-studded audience, including Kristin Chenoweth and the Project Runway cast.
Stay safe and bundle up this weekend! Oh, and don’t forget to check out some fashion.
